Getting It Done!

I'm moving, but it's awkward. I'm getting things done, but not in an orderly manner. Little goes as planned and everyone's schedules conflict with mine. I shouldn't complain.

I was watching the travel channel the other day. Not really paying attention but I was for a moment fascinated by a scene of some Europeans sitting at a cafe, reading, eating, drinking and in general relaxing. Europeans seem to have a certain sensibility about things. How not New York! In New York one is reminded of that quote by Michael Douglas playing Gordon Geko. "Lunch is for Wimps!"
I'm 50. I should be able to take my time. Sit and watch, be inspired, eat and drink at a leisurely pace. It is worse for my wife. She not only races around for herself but for me.

My van got blocked in it's handicapped parking space yesterday. The driver of the offending car pulled right up to the edge of the lift. Clearly no mistake. No handicap plates or placard. A student ID and on his dashboard something very telling. A photograph of Osama Bin Laden.

A couple of you have asked about posting images here, you are welcome here.
