Valentine's weekend: Dinner and a movie. Nothing exotic but a much needed, much appreciated experience. Yet another resolution - to do the cinema experience more often. Have to include that in my travels. Good food, good company and great art almost sounds selfish!
I saw Eastwood's Million Dollar Baby, I can reccomend it without reservation. He seems to get better with age. And Hillary Swank, for someone who emerged from a humble beginning, and with little in the way of formal education must less training, is quite amazing. I have to think people who spend years in school and never get the chance she did, have to be really discouraged. But she just seems to have it in her.
Let's go to the movies! Hell, let's make movies!
